- The Document Field Input shows all available fields
that are being used within the current document. The Document Field
Input tool is available in every document and will be used to enter,
modify or to verify the content of all fields. If a number of values
have been defined for a certain field, the field will be shown as a
dropdown field where the users can select the appropriate value. The
configuration of the ODIS Author import function or the connection to
an external database, allows importing data from an external data source.
This can be used to imports data very quickly and also ensures the entered
data are correct and up-to-date. The Document Field Input will also
automatically be started when a new document gets created. This ensures
that documents will contain all information that are important for the
document.
